Quality Assurance Framework

Every item inspected. Every requirement documented.

We are not a broker. Quality management runs through the whole contract, from reading the solicitation to closing it out. Select a stage to see how it works and what the buyer receives.

Stage 01 · Before any order

Contract review and flow-down

We read the solicitation end to end: technical data package, drawings, specifications, inspection and acceptance clauses, packaging and marking, and delivery terms. Every quality requirement is written into the purchase order to the manufacturer, so nothing depends on assumption.

What this covers

  • Solicitation and TDP review against real production capability
  • Inspection and acceptance clauses identified (FAR Part 46 / 52.246)
  • Quality requirements flowed down to the supplier in writing
  • Documented go / no-go decision before quoting
Stage 02 · Sourcing

Supplier qualification

Product comes only from qualified sources we can trace. Suppliers are evaluated on quality system, capability, capacity and country of origin before they join our approved supplier list. No unverified brokers and no gray-market product.

What this covers

  • Approved supplier list with a documented evaluation
  • Quality-system evidence reviewed (ISO 9001 registration preferred)
  • Domestic source and country-of-origin verification (Buy American, Trade Agreements Act)
  • Capacity and on-time delivery history checked
Stage 03 · Before full production

First article inspection

When a contract requires it, and on any new part or new supplier, the first production unit is inspected against the drawing before full production is released. Dimensions, materials and finish are verified and recorded, and production proceeds only on approval.

What this covers

  • First article inspection report
  • Contract first article provisions followed when invoked (FAR 52.209-3 / 52.209-4)
  • Release to production only after approval
  • Material and process certifications on file
Stage 04 · During production

In-process inspection and lot acceptance sampling

Quality is checked while product is made, not only at the end. Each lot is accepted or rejected against a defined sampling plan and acceptance quality level, so conformance rests on data.

What this covers

  • In-process inspection checkpoints
  • Lot acceptance sampling (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 or MIL-STD-1916, as specified)
  • Defined acceptance criteria for each characteristic
  • Inspection records retained with the lot
Stage 05 · Before shipment

Final inspection, packaging and marking

Before anything ships, product is checked for conformance, count and condition. Packaging and marking follow contract requirements and the applicable military standards, and each shipment carries its conformance documentation.

What this covers

  • Final inspection against the purchase order
  • Marking to MIL-STD-129 and packaging to MIL-STD-2073-1 where specified
  • Certificate of conformance with each shipment
  • Shipping and receiving documentation
Stage 06 · Delivery and closeout

Delivery, traceability and corrective action

Freight is coordinated and tracked to the receiving facility. Lot and serial traceability is maintained, records are kept for the period the contract requires, and any nonconformance is contained, investigated and corrected at the root cause.

What this covers

  • Tracked freight to the designated facility
  • Lot and serial traceability
  • Nonconformance reporting and corrective action (FAR 52.246-26 where applicable)
  • Contract closeout and record retention
Standards we work to ISO 9001 principles FAR Part 46 / 52.246 First article (FAR 52.209-3/-4) ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 MIL-STD-1916 MIL-STD-129 / 2073-1 Buy American / TAA

These are the frameworks our process is built around. The governing requirements on any order are the ones stated in the contract.
